Data controller

What we collect

When you send the quote or contact form:

• Your name, company, country and phone number.
• Your email address, if you give it.
• What you tell us about your request: product or model, quantity, sector, customisation and notes.
• The page’s language and the page you sent the request from.

When you message us on WhatsApp or by email, we keep the messages and files you send.

Like any website, our host Cloudflare records technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open, to serve the site and protect it from attacks.

We do not ask for payment details or sensitive personal data, so please leave them out of your notes.

Why we use it

• To reply to your request, prepare a quote and follow your order if we agree one.
• To protect the site and the form from spam and misuse.
• To meet our legal duties, such as keeping invoices and business correspondence.

We never sell or rent your data, and we send no marketing messages unless you ask for them.

Legal basis

We process your data because it is needed to answer your request before a contract and to perform the contract if one follows, to meet our legal duties, and for our legitimate interest in protecting the site (KVKK Article 5/2, GDPR Article 6/1). So sending the form does not require your consent to anything.

Who sees your data

• Only the Ramla team that handles requests and sales.
• Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site.
• [Form provider], which receives form messages and passes them to us.
• Meta, the owner of WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there; its own privacy policy applies.
• Shipping and customs companies, when we ship your order.
• Public authorities, when the law requires it.

Transfers outside Türkiye

Cloudflare and Meta run servers outside Türkiye, and the form provider may too, so your data may be transferred abroad. We do this in line with Article 9 of KVKK and the safeguards it requires.

How long we keep it

We keep form requests and messages that do not lead to an order for [period] after our last contact, then delete them. If an order follows, we keep its records for as long as Turkish commercial and tax law requires.

Cookies

Our site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from automated attacks. If we add measurement tools later, we will update this page and ask for your consent before they run.

How we protect it

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only the people on our team who handle requests can see them.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK and the matching GDPR rights, you may:

• Find out whether we process your data, and ask for a copy and details.
• Learn why it is processed and whether it is used for that purpose.
• Know the parties in Türkiye or abroad it has been passed to.
• Ask for it to be corrected if it is incomplete or wrong, or deleted, and for those parties to be told.
• Object to a result against you that comes solely from automated analysis of your data.
• Claim compensation if unlawful processing harms you.
• If you are in Europe, object to processing, or ask for it to be restricted or your data moved.

Write to contact@ramlaglassware.com or send a written request to our address above, and we will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Authority or, in Europe, to the data protection authority in your country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when the way we work or the law changes, and we will change the date at the top.
